Expressions of Interest: Buchanan Park Amenities Blocks

Mount Isa City Council wishes to invite all community organisations to participate in a planned auction in early October 2024 for the following Council assets: 2 x trailer-mounted amenities blocks (male and female) – disability ramp for one of the blocks available.

This auction is only available to Mount Isa and Camooweal community organisations that identify as one of the following, in accordance with the Local Government Regulations 2012:

• (a) an entity that carries on activities for a public purpose;

Or

• (b) another entity whose primary object is not directed at making a profit.

This site must be left clean after the trailers have been removed. The buyer will bear the costs associated with the removal of the assets. The trailers are to be returned to Council.

Council will have services (power, gas and electricity) cut off before the amenities blocks are removed.

The gas bottles will not be supplied with the amenities blocks. The amenities blocks will be sold as is.

All buyers must register their interest to attend by no later than Friday 20 September 2024.

Payment to be paid in full on the day. Funds must be cleared before the items can be removed.
