Council Recycling Trial

What is happening? 

Council is offering a commercial recycling trial from 1 February to 30 June 2025 for local businesses. Participants will receive 240L yellow wheelie bins for recycling, along with a free collection service until the end of the financial year. 

What’s Included in the Trial? 

  • Delivery of 1 – 2 x 240L yellow wheelie bins for recycling. 

  • Free collection service for five months. 

What does it mean for you?  

This is an opportunity for your business to take part in recycling in Mount Isa and contribute towards our landfill reduction goals.  Detailed information on what can and cannot be recycled can be found on our web page.
