We handle the Mount Isa City Council Planning Scheme and provide clear information and services for property, development, plumbing, and even horse paddocks. Our goal is to balance growth, environmental care, and community needs, ensuring a bright future for everyone.

OUR PURPOSE

  • To ensure property developments align with the City Council Planning Scheme to promote sustainable, well-designed communities that balance growth with the protection of environmental and cultural assets.
  • Provide clear guidance to property owners, developers, and residents regarding planning, zoning, and land-use regulations.
  • Oversee the allocation and management of horse paddocks in line with council policies, ensuring animal welfare, land sustainability, and community accessibility.
  • Regulate land use and property developments to maintain safety, functionality, and aesthetic harmony in the city. Ensure compliance with the City Council Planning Scheme, issuing permits and approvals as necessary.
