Portfolios: Economic Development
Councillor Bio
I am a local business owner, father, and an active member of Commerce North West and a range of sporting clubs, including Mount Isa Netball, Mount Isa Rugby Union, and the Warrigals Rugby Union Club.
After high school, I dove headfirst into an electrical apprenticeship. Once I completed my apprenticeship, I worked at the mines as an electrician for about nine years, and eventually transitioned to Malouf Autos.
Today, I am the proud owner of The Boss Shop. I am married to Megan, and we have three sons.
My main priorities will be to see to the completion of current projects, as well as results on current advisory committees.
Talking with a good majority of sporting groups in the community, they are all for a multi-sports complex so they can unburden themselves from the constant maintenance and upgrading of their facilities. I see that this is an area where Council can assist and bring sporting greatness back to our city. It will also add to the livability of the city and make Mount Isa a more attractive place for people to move their families back to our city.
