The 2024 NQ Sportstar Awards is being held in Mount Isa for the very first time, and is proudly hosted by Mount Isa City Council.
The awards ceremony and gala dinner will be held on Saturday, October 26, at the Mount Isa Civic Centre, 23 West Street. Doors open at 5.30pm.
This prestigious event will honour the remarkable achievements of regional athletes across a variety of categories, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication that North Queensland has to offer.
This year's keynote speaker will be Ben Hannant - also known as "Polar Bear". Ben will be sharing how he succeeded throughout his career, including playing 245 NRL games, 12 State of Origins, and winning 2 premierships.
With a rich history dating back to 1990, the NQ Sportstar Awards have established themselves as a cornerstone of the region's sporting community. There will be a range of exciting finalists attending the awards, including Olympic medallists and other known sporting legends.
Ticket price includes a complimentary drink on arrival; pre-dinner celebration with a deluxe grazing board; two-course gala dinner; and a live local band.
